Hi,

I've two opened Databases with different master key's, one of them I syncronize with a copy located on a shared drive with a trigger on open, save and close of database.
Until 2.22 everything works fine, from 2.23 on I get an error Message "The composite key is invalid! Make sure that the two databases use the same composite master key. This is required for synchronization."

The two databases I sync have the same key, but the two I've opened have different ones.
When I change the Master Key of the not syncing DB to the same of the synced DB than I got no error message.

In my oppinion this is a bug from 2.23, because until 2.22 all was fine.

Thanks,
Furby

The error message indicates that KeePass is trying to sync a database pair where the individual databases in the sync pair have different Master Keys. KeePass 2.x cannot, and never could, sync a database pair where each database in the sync pair has a different Master Key.

I've tried to reproduce this issue, but everything works as expected.

If you can reliably reproduce the issue, please provide sample databases, your configuration file, triggers and detailed steps what you're doing.

    Thanks and best regards,
