I would like the following formatted URLs to be valid:
mydomain.com (DOES NOT WORK CURRENTLY - automatically prepend http:// or https://)
//mydomain.com (DOES NOT WORK CURRENTLY - auto-select http/https -> works in browsers)
It's really annoying to do this by hand...
I agree this is very annoying. All of my URLs are domain.com to help with various starting domain sections. Espeically with websites like google and amazon. Simply adding http:// to the start of these would be a huge help.
Version 1.8 (just released) supports URLs that have no protocol. I think this worked in some previous versions too but it looks like a bug crept in at some point.
URLs beginning with "//" are not valid in the URL field of a KeePass entry but if you have found a site where this is how they represent their favicon and you find that it does not get downloaded in v1.8, please post the details here and I'll see if we can do something about that.
Please follow this issue for support for protocol relevant links to favicons: https://github.com/luckyrat/KeePass-Favicon-Downloader/issues/12
