[Kdiff3-user] KDiff3 License?

Hello,

The main page for kdiff3 links to GPLv2 as its license [1].
However, in the source code, there is code whose comments say it is
licensed under GPLv3 [2].

I am no lawyer, but doesn't that mean the codebase, taken as a whole,
cannot be claimed to be GPLv2, as it is on the homepage?

This makes a world of difference in some organizations.
