Yes, I can use gdb on an executable with debug info that you provided.
Feel free to attach it directly to me or tell me where to download it
from.

Ah, if you could tell me the name of the function that the 'Ok' button
calls from the window that allows the files or directories selection.
It would save some debugging time, I would set a break point there and
single step from there onwards.
