#162 Open selected file / parent folder. Compare two non-identically named/located files in a folder merge
Hey, thanks for the best merge program around! It's such a powerful app and a critical tool... even for lowly web developers like myself ;)
Wanted to add a request regarding a couple of bits of basic functionality I found oddly lacking:
- Open selected file (ie: in the default editor).
- Open selected files parent folder.
Finally a slightly more ambitious request...
When viewing the results of a folder diff it's not possible to select two files (that may have different file names and/or be in different folders) and choose to launch a file diff of those two files.
These actions could be incorporated into the main menu, although perhaps a longer-term option would be introducing a right-click menu for these sorts of actions.
Hope you'll consider these requests, even just the first two alone would make a significant difference to my workflow. Cheers
