I thought it was not possible to open a third text window after running it first with 2 windows, but I discovered that if you want to 'add' a third text window (add a third file to diff), just click on the 'Open' icon and the Open File dialog comes up. The current files in the diff are still listed. In there you can simple browse for and add a third file to the diff. You can also swap the window panes (A<->B, A<->C, B<->C) if you want.

So if I've understood your request correctly, then you already can do this - the feature exists and this feature request can be closed.

Let us know if this is what you were after...HTH :)

    No, this is not enough.
As I wrote, I use KDiff3 for texts pasted from the clipboard. I use the Cancel button in the initial dialog and opens two windows. See ticket [#127].
If I use your procedure (with empty file) erases the contents of the original windows A and B. However, this procedure can be used at the beginning, not afterwards.
