#210 kdiff3 comparing directories not working using FTP on Ubuntu 14.04

Kdiff doesn't work with folder comparison over FTP.

I used to use Ubuntu 12.04, everything was working fine.

But in 14.04 folder comparison is not working anymore. Tried it with 0.9.97 (via apt-get) and with 0.9.98 (via QT4) - non of these are working on 14.04.

Example
A: file:///home/andy/
B: ftp:/ftpuser@1.1.1.1/home/andy

This brings me the following error:
Opening of these files failed:
- /home/andy/ftp:/andy@1.1.1.1/home/andy
