#1 kdereader startup too slow

The reader interface is fairly slow to start. The
downloading headers from gutenberg.net, parsing of
downloaded said headers etc takes a while. This might
call for some background jobs, threading etc.

I know the project is very new. So i'm submitting this
as a bug/wishlist item. :)

As the user can't do anything really while loading gutenberg
index information, I should think the best way to do it is
simply display a splash screen of some kind.

Multithreading in this case wouldn't help much in my opinion
as the user would end up having an empty unfunctional GUI
while things get loaded in the background.
