When writing meeting or similar notes into a text
file / report, todos, as they come, are also written
into that file rather than directly into KO/PI.
Usually another session is needed afterwards to
manually copy these todos into KO/PI.

An automated solution would be good:
It is easy to tag them as todos in the report file,
e.g. using a special tag like

+t Support Mr Smith with KO/PI sync

Afterwards, one can extract all todos from the report
file with a "grep" command which results in a todo
list.

Now it would be great if such a todo list of the
format (for example)

+t This is the first todo
+t This is the second todo
+t And so on

could be imported into KO/PI (duplicates should be
recognized and excluded from the import so only new
todos are imported).
After importing, KO/PI should present each new todo
in the todo editor window to the user so that the
user can assign due dates, categories etc.
