I have stored the kdepim data files on an SD card and
have set KO/PI and KA/PI to fastload.
When the card is not inserted when booting, KO/PI
complains about absent data files and seems to load a
When the SD card is inserted and KO/PI is closed,
KO/PI overwrites the config files on the SD card with
the default configuration. Since the config files are
not backupped automatically, it is not easy to
restore the configuration.
So my suggestion is to either add the config files to
the automatic backup process of kdepim/pi or to let
the apps ask the user if in such cases the config
files are written anew.
