It was my kdenliverc file. I renamed it. The newly created rc-file functions correctly: no more crashes on exit. Also: the " open recent" functions fine now. I tried it with three projects and all are now "remembered" by kdenlive. My libqt version is 3.3.6 (libqt3-headers, libqt3-mt, and so on) My kdelibs are all 3.5.5. Thanks for your almost instant reply. Kdenlive got even better now :-) Harry jb wrote: > On Saturday 17 February 2007 16.47:12 Harry van der Wolf wrote: > >> My kdenlive versions always crash when I quit the program. >> >> [KCrash handler] >> #6 0xb7470b40 in operator<< () from /usr/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 >> #7 0xb7470beb in QString::fromLatin1 () from /usr/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 >> #8 0xb7b3b227 in KDockManager::writeConfig () from /usr/lib/libkdeui.so.4 >> #9 0xb7b3b361 in KDockMainWindow::writeDockConfig () >> from /usr/lib/libkdeui.so.4 >> > > > That may be a KDE bug fixed in latest versions. > I am currently using qt3 version 3.3.6 and kdelibs 3.5.6 and no crash. > > Can you check your QT and KDE version and update them if you don't have the > latest version ?
