Hi.

I can confirm that there seems to be problems with audio tracks. Trying to cut 
a clip in an audio track brings up the same kind of problems for me, I will 
investigate in the next days.

Hi again,

I'm still trying to get a video project done and after strangeness with
some dv files (inconsistencies between preview and the real thing,
pretended time-jumps... cannot pin that yet -- kino has no prob...), I
got a solid crash in a strange situation.

1. Added a new audio clip in one of my two audio tracks.
2. Want to move that clip.
3. I doesn't move.
4. Cut it, wanting to paste (hoping that this makes it movable again).
5. After cut, clip is still visible.
6. On paste, kdenlive crashes because of a pure virtual method being
   called.

I attached some info I got out of gdb.
I know that I'm mixing up several issues here but I am indeed trying to
get this project through with half-closed eyes, doing a short stop
everytime I hit a wall.
Well, up to now at least kdenlive's crash recovery works - heck, I used
it lots of times today.

Perhaps this gdb trace gives a clue about one problem at least.

Well in fact, Kdenlive uses the default MLT producers, so it will let MLT 
choose the producer, depending on the image format and what is installed on 
your system.

I am currently trying to port Kdenlive to KDE4/QT4, so you might directly try 
to work with QT4 for this effect, it is probably much more  powerful.

If you can manage to have the effect working in MLT, I can help with the 
Kdenlive integration, shouldn't be too much work.

Hi, I'm strugglign to get some work done with kdenlive and found
out that I can at least fix one of my problems:
Everytime I close the app, it gets a crash.

Reason: if(splash) delete splash;
splash not intialized to NULL if _not_ splash has been shown.

Please consider including this patch in SVN (OK, the second changed
line has no direct effect on the crash but 0L for a pointer just
looked wrong):
