[Kde20devel-translators] KDE 2.0 Development translation to spanish

Hi,

I'm Fernando Pina, from Spain. I'm wishing to help (or initiate) a
translation to spanish of this book. I've grabbed the docbook source, 
and I have several questions:

	Must I just start translating the sources? Do I have to 
	do any kind of transformation to the sources? May I insert
	additional markup, as I see fit?

	Which Docbook documentation should I read before starting?
	(I already have a copy of those found in
	http://www.oasis-open.org/docbook).
	
	Do you use any special tool for editing XML or just an ASCII
	editor? I've tried some XML ones (Merlot, xmleditor, Xeena),
	but they don't seem to work very well with DocBook sources
	(they produce a big number of errors, and/or don't edit 
	anything). I'm a Linux user, (as you could guess) and I would
	like to continue that way.

	Do you have any (standard) way to store the different
	translations?.

	May I submit each section as it is finished? How? Where?
