#7 re: Payment Gateways... Ideas...

We are looking for a shopping cart that we can use with
PHPwebsite, and had some questions/feature requests.

KCart seems to use PayPal as the payment method and I
was just wondering if it could also be set-up to use
any payment gateway that we needed to use, or if we
would be able to do this in the new version? (in
addition to using PayPal)

I was also thinking that it might be useful to include
additional payment options, in addition to paying by
PayPal (or by credit card through PayPal, or other
payment gateway like suggested above), to be able to
set options like, Pay by: Check/Money Order by Mail,
C.O.D./Pick-Up, Bill to My Account (for companies that
bill their customers monthly), each of these options
that the site admin can turn on/off based on how they
want to accept payment... Just a thought so that
customers might have more of a choice, and therefore
more opportunity to actually make the purchase...

is KCart set-up to send out email confirmations to the
buyer and seller?
