#42 Cannot download to local files system

Any attempts to download a file into my local
filesystem cause this error message: unable to read
file - skip? cancel? autoskip?

The file always downloads partially and then quits.
There is no problem using the other ftp client I have.

Running KBear 2.1 on KDE 3.1.4 using RH9 on an AMD
machine. QT version is 3.1.
