I use a script to schedule a number of KBackup --autobg jobs with the option --script that uses a script to send an email to several people that the KBackup job was successful. A sample command that reflects the exact code with minor changes for privacy: kbackup --autobg /home/user/backup_profiles/test.kbp --script /home/user/backup_scripts/succ_test.sh This code above runs inside a script that crontab uses to run at a specified time. THE PROBLEM IS THAT I RECEIVE 4 COPIES OF EACH EMAIL PER CRONTAB SCRIPT . Can someone please help? It looks like you are having major SCSI problems. I would suggest trouble- shooting your SCSI card/tape drive first. (i.e. make sure you can tar an archive on/off of the drive) On Wed, Jul 25, 2001 at 10:06:11AM +0200, proftpd wrote: > Hi guys, > > I dont know where the problem is located exactly. > kbackup has checked the tape drive with a positive result. > the tape is ok too, i checked it on another machine. > > i am using SONY DDS3 Streamer with module st and scsi_mod for dc395x_trm for > the tekram controller. > > debug reports as following: > Jul 24 16:58:34 webmail kernel: DC395x (TRM-S1040) SCSI driver 1.33, > 2001-07-09 > Jul 24 16:58:34 webmail kernel: DC395x: Used settings: AdapterID=07, > Speed=0(20.0MHz), DevMode=0x77 > Jul 24 16:58:34 webmail kernel: DC395x: AdaptMode=0x0f, Tags=4(16), > DelayReset=1s > Jul 24 16:58:34 webmail kernel: DC395x (TRM-S1040): 1 adapters found > Jul 24 17:20:27 webmail kernel: DC395x: Interrupt from DMA engine: 63! > Jul 24 17:20:27 webmail kernel: DC395x: This means DMA error!
