Running Ubuntu 12.10, I would like to use my double Skype wireless phone (PSTN and Skype). In Windows XP, it is running with GT-1900 drivers, Windows 8 installs other drivers automatically.
    lsusb returns:
Bus 003 Device 004: ID 0d8c:000c C-Media Electronics, Inc. Audio Adapter
Bus 003 Device 005: ID 0e6a:6002 Megawin Technology Co., Ltd

usbb2k-api-mod_2.8-1_i386_kubuntu8042.deb installed without problems through software center.
However, attempting to install kb2kskype_0.3.8-0ubuntu1_i386_kubuntu810.deb resulted in complains about a missing dependancy kdelibs4c2a.

I read some people have successfully used a python version.
How to get and install this python version on my Ubuntu 12.10?
As i am not familiar with python, i would need some simple instructions for copy/paste.
Would be nice to get that phone working, again.

usbb2k-api-mod wont support your device out of the box. From usbTalker.c

    define telbox_idVendor 0x6993

    define telbox_idProduct 0xb001

If you want to work on it feel free, but I don't have this device or spare time to look at it.

    Sorry for the bad news

    Simon
