I just tried out Skype 1.4 with the Adnams-patched kb2kbskype and usbb2k_api, and it seems to work out of the box. My system is Ubuntu Edgy (6.10), and I used the generic build of Skype 1.4.0.64 (the second alpha release, I think -- the first with X11 API support).
A test call did not ring our phone, and was answered automatically. I'm not sure if this points to problems in the call handling logic in the Adnams patches, or whether this is just the way the Skype test call button in the audio settings section is supposed to work.
Anyways, it all looks pretty good.
