kb2k is trying to use the wrong card and I can't find a way to change the device. Using the phone for dialing works, but the sound is actually handled through card 2 (the hdmi is from the video card and has no sound hookup)
I have skype itself setup to use device 0,0, but changing settings in the prefrences there does nothing.
Relevent data is below.
cat /proc/asound/cards

2 : ATIIXP - ATI IXP

kb2kskype doesn't really do anything with the sounds, other than add volume controls(which just use amixer on the command line). Its skype that decides where the audio comes and goes from. That said which version of skype are you running, is it the Pulseaudio or the alsa version?
