It's now possible to export a Map layer (image) in QGIS format.
If you have problems with reading à QGIS file (list of points) or exporting the QGIS files (list of points or topographic data), call me : add a bug ticket and give me "good data", I will check the compatibility.

Now, Karto can import and export files on QGIS format for plots or way track.
The next step (planed) is to export files with scan maps on QGIS format.

La version 2.0 finalisée est enfin disponible.
Après 1 an et demin de boulot, et presque 9 mois de retard sur le planning prévisionnel (mais pas grave).
Au projet : améliorer les perfs pour les très grosses cartes.

La version est disponible maintenant sur le site. Les sources ont aussi été déposés.
Version délivrée : 1.8.7.

A new release of Karto (entirely re-written) is comming. For the end of the summer if everything is OK.
It will be compatible with your current data, and will run with Java 1.8 and upper.

The SVN repository has been activated.
It is filled with the data from the previous CVS repository.
