#7 desktop properties dialog cannot start screen saver

in the windows screen saver configuration dialog
(desktop -> properties -> screen saver), the preview or
the configuration may not work, and display an error
message "cannot start server" after some time has elapsed.

nevertheless, the screen saver is properly activated
after the screen saver timeout.

as a workaround: open the collection that you want the
screen saver to display normally under karsten, and use
the view -> screen saver menu item to set the
configuration.
