#24 Crash at end of audio track

Windows 10, 64-bit, 8GB RAM

While preparing a song, as soon as the audio track reaches the end, the whole Windows freezes - even the mouse cursor will not move.

Found in the Event Viewer under "Windows Error Reporting":

Shortly after, I see other apps affected and APPCRASH reports are filed for:
chrome.exe
dwm.exe
ESENT reports:

...so it looks like Windows is running out of resources.

Eventually after 35 minutes Windows reports an "Application Error"

I get the same behaviour twice more after a fresh reboots, to counter any suggestion that Windows was already short of resources by the time karlyriceditor.exe was run.
