#546 Multi-character sequences for sort profile configuration

The following feature request was sent by Bernward Lauterbach, see his email from 05 April 2010:
The sort profile configurations should allow multi-character sequences. A use case would be the sequence 'to ' for an english database in the 'Front' field which could then be used to sort the infinitive form of a verb alphabetically.
Currently the sequence 'to' is interpreted as list of single letters; as a consequence, the word 'opportunity' is sorted as 'pportunity'.
