#236 Find an update strategy for karatasi Java to Java 8

Our latest published version requires JRE 6 (which is a bit outdated), current JRE is JRE 8.
We need to discuss a strategy and analyse a few facts about a possible updating strategy:

• is it possible to link a new version so that it can run with both Java 6 and Java 8?
• can we somehow encode the required / supported JRE version into the name, and give the user more information in the notification that an update is available?
• maybe it is better to just tell the user about the available new version (and the system requirements) and let him perform the download manually?
• how exactly is the behaviour of the current published karatasi Java version if it detects an update and the user agrees to update?
