The two manuals need to be unified in their structure so that a reuse is possible.
Currently we maintain 3 (languages) * 2 manual versions.

Consider to migrate to html5, this is also the current recommendation of the W3C.

svn 3850: web manual is converted to html5, and its contents unified with iPhone manual.
Both use now the same source files, a script exists to synchronize iPhone manual sources from the web sources.

Reopening. The manual should be tested on the following browsers:

Safari (MAC-OS)

Linux

MicroSoft Internet Explorer

Google browser (PC)

Safari (small screen like iPhone)

Android browser (small screen)

Tested: Safari / MAC-OS: ok.
Firefox (Linux): ok.
Chrome (Google): not available here.
Android (mobile phone) and Safari (iPhone): the frames don't work as expected. I'll open a separate tracker for this.
Microsoft: to be verified.
