I've been busy with the AutoHotKey script to export the karaoke items from the media library for the last couple of days. The script is now in SVN and any OtsAV users are invited to test it - it exports all the karaoke songs to two files export.ofl and export.txt in the current folder (i.e. wherever the script is run from).

The design model is now in the repository at: https://karaokehoster.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/karaokehoster/Sourcecode/KaraokeHoster.uml

We have no excuse to skip software design in our projects now!... read more
The Karaoke Hoster is now open source.
The Karaoke Hoster is written in c# and makes use of other open source works to remote control DJ software that does not have karaoke host functionality like request management and song rotation.
The Karaoke Hoster will no longer be tied to any particular DJ software - the original version was developed against winamp (http://www.winamp.com) and version 2 was developed for OtsAV (http://www.otsav.com). Volunteers to help integrate the Karaoke Hoster with other DJ applications are welcome.... read more
