Projects

Kanbanara supports multiple and fully isolated projects. A logged-on user will only see those projects they created, were invited to join or are a member of.

The filter bar allows you to easily switch between projects and to display the cards for the project of your choice on your kanban board.

Kanbanara is SAAS-ready in supporting fully isolated projects. An individual user can be a team member in any number of projects and they will only ever be able to see those projects which they created or to which they have been invited.

Only a project manager or deputy project manager can update a project?s settings.

Announcements

This page allows you to manage a project’s announcements that you wish to impart to your team via Kanbanara’s marquee.

Awards

This page allows a project’s project manager to specify one or more awards, one of which can then be assigned to a particular card, which upon completion can be awarded to those involved.

Subteams

This page allows you to define a subteam for your project. Such project subteams would allow you, for example, to divide your cards by persona.

Team Members

This page allows you to invite new members to join your project.

Workflow

The Workflow tab allows you to set up the steps and columns required in your workflow.

Each step can contain a main column, a counterpart column (think of this as a second main column) and a buffer column. A step can consist of:

A Main column A Buffer column Main and Counterpart columns Main and Buffer columns Main, Counterpart and Buffer columns

For each step a display name must be assigned.

To each column must be assigned its display name, centric (e.g. owner, reviewer or quality analyst) and its state (custom or metastate). You can optionally add a textual description of what the state/column means that will appear as a popup on the kanban board when a user hovers over the column name.

Please feel free to leave one or more steps empty should you feel your workflow may be expanded in the future.
