    Can anyone please tell me wat <ValueSum> [xxx xxx xxx] in nnet2 SoftmaxComponent is used for?

      It's for diagnostics and various "fixing" procedures (nnet-fix) where
      we detect that certain neurons are always oversaturated and scale down
      the corresponding parameters.
