# Relation to other Open Source Projects
1.** Kage and Clash** -- [Clash](http://geesas.sourceforge.net/clash/) was creek23's early attempt on creating animation software by implementing some missing basic functionalities on top of Pencil2D. But the code related to vector-handling was unbearable (no offense to Pencil2D) so creek23 have to start one from scratch, thus Kage.
2. **Kage and Pencil2D** -- Through Clash, creek23 became an indirect contributor of [Pencil2D](https://www.pencil2d.org) with official contributors merging creek23's [Clash changes to Pencil's main branch](https://www.pencil2d.org/pencil-docs/docs/win32_8cpp_source.html). Creek23 did the exporting of video, shortcut keys, and some other tool icons. Creek23 is not officially credited on the tools "Help->About" but the name "Mj Mendoza IV" and/or "creek23" is right there in Pencil2D's [ChangeLog](https://github.com/pencil2d/pencil/blob/master/ChangeLog.md) and some of the files he modified from Clash.

It allows you to export animation in AVI (via [FFmpeg](https://www.ffmpeg.org/)), HTML5, and KonsolScript.

-Kage currently is in its early BETA stage. So using [0.3.20x series](https://sourceforge.net/p/kage/tickets/milestone/0.3.20x/) for your animation project **is a no-no**.

+Kage is currently in BETA stage. You can use [0.6.22x series](https://sourceforge.net/p/kage/tickets/milestone/0.6.x%20%28Revamp%20Zoom%29/) for your animation project and post any problems you find in the forums and expect a 100% support that it gets done.
# Tutorials
-Please note that Kage is too young and certain functionalities might quickly change over time. That said, go over to [Tutorials](https://sourceforge.net/p/kage/wiki/Tutorials/).
