Luving the continued improvement of kaffeine!
1. You responded to a request on converting DVB to DVD, siting replex as an
example, this is great! I've been struggling with it for a while, great
But 90% of my recordings are mpeg-ps (it doesn't say in the handbook what the
differences are and when/where to use one format over another, is it worth
expanding this section a little?).
When trying to convert my mpeg-ps to VOB
cat in.mpg | replex -t DVD > out.vob
it errors with:
using stdin as input
using stdout as output
Checking for TS: failed
Checking for AVI: failed
Checking for PS: confirmed(maybe)
read 0.00 MB
Can't find all required streams
Please check if audio and video have standard IDs (0xc0 or 0xe0)
It works fine with TS, so is there an easy way to convert mpeg-ps to ts? With
the goal of creating a DVD, or should another approach be used?
I tried using transcode to extract the video and audio, then duplex them,
created DVD ok but audio+visual went out of sink half way through.
I realise this is not strictly a kaffeine question, but you seem to know some
useful tips and I've failed with google.
2. When replying to a mail list question, how do I make it so my reply will
nest below the original, is it by putting RE <original thread name> in the
email Subject line, or simply <original thread name> or...
Thanks for your time!

The key is to use the "reply" feature of a properly working email=20
program, so that the correct "References:" header is included in=20
