#3 Update Service forgets Proxy Settings

After configuring a proxy server, closing Kable, opening it again and using the Update Service the Update Service reports that it cannot connect to the update site.
Looks like the service is not using the proxy settings.

<b>Workaround</a>
Open the preferences tab <i>Network Connections</i> and close the preferences dialog again. Now when updating the proxy server settings should be used.
