I'm just getting started at looking at how to recommend new versions to Audacity to get updated in the script. The current version on Linux (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/linux) looks to be for some distros 2.0.4 or 2.0.5. I am pretty sure the current script is installing 2.0.1.

  The script is installing the version on the official Kali Linux repository, but, I'll look into this and try to change it to the updated version available. Thanks for your report. And sorry about the late response.
