k8055utils was completely rewritten:
Now k8055d monitors up to 4 devices at once and can handle two different kinds of clients:
k8055m - Communicates via Shared Memory, produces less overhead and thus is a bit faster.
k8055s - Communicates via non-blocking Sockets, guarantees that every event will be recognized, but might be delayed.
Both clients provide a smart command line interpreter and there is a manpage for each program.
Now the source package might be called a source distribution, since it passes some standards.
