When run from terminal in ubuntu 9.04, it gives segmentation fault.

Thanks for the Bug report
I have installed Ubuntu9.4 and I have the same crash even when recompiling from source.
Not sure about that but it looks like it has something to do with my OpenGL card driver /Mesa 7.4 . Also, not all GL programs crash (glxgears for instance) !!!
