I am trying to use the google api (http://www.google.com/apis) in a jython program. I set my classpath to include googleapi.jar, which contains all the classes I should need. I also used sys.path.append to MAKE SURE that the .jar file was being read. This is basically what happens: > import com.google.soap.search as google > print dir(google) ['GoogleAPIDemo', 'GoogleSearch', 'GoogleSearchDirectoryCategory'...] > g = google.GoogleSearch() AttributeError: java package 'com.google.soap.search' has no attribute 'GoogleSearch' I have seen that the class GoogleSearch may need to be declared public but I don't know if there's any way to get in there and monkey with the classes since I didn't write them, I got them from google. Does anyone have experience with this or can anyone suggest a solution? TIA, Andrea |
