I would like to invite all interested in population genetics (or
scientific computing in general) to visit our Java Web Start
application modeler4simcoal2 (m4s2). which is a easy to use web
interface for a coalescent simulator (simcoal2).
The program allows to model demographies and genomes to be simulated
Coalescent simulation is used in a wide range of settings, from
helping in making decisions in conserving species near extension, to
finding genes under selection, to studying distributions of alleles
related with HIV resistence.
New demographies can be created by extending the system in Jython
(used as the embedded extension platform in Java).
