I am trying to build a java based dictionary for offline use based on
jython.For this the backend dictionary will be wordnet. To access
wordnet from a swing GUI in jython, i want to use the pywordnet
library. I have the source code of the library but it refuses to
compile with python2.1.
It works fine under python2.3 after some problems with the path.
I wanted to know if the following error while compiling the script
with python2.1 was because lack of hindsight on the authors part.

I mailed the author about the issue. But as he did not reply i plan to
do the changes myself.
If anyone of you have a clue of what needs to be changed or working on
a similar project,please let me know.
