Jython 2.1: yes.
Jython 2.2+: no -- JDK 1.4 is the practical minimum for 2.2 -- There
was some attempt to make Jython 2.2 work with JDK 1.2 -- but this is
almost certainly imperfect.
How can I build a "background counter" in Jython? I need to perform an
operation at fixed intervals, but without locking the user interface, which
must accept user input during the count.
The only jython implementation I can use matches with Python 2.1
Is it possible to get Jython "preprocessing" the source? My jython script
can be executed on my phone, but cannot run on the PC due to javaphone
libraries, only present on the phone (i.e., import javax.net.datagram only
works on the phone)
Alternatively, how can I tell jython where to look for additiona libraries?
