does anyone know where one may find jython-users@ and jython-dev@
archives available for download in mbox format (I prefer offline
reading and searching)?
Seems like SF doesn't provide such facilities?
I'm asking about it because I'm observing mysterious exceptions
when trying to test the just-checkedout Jython HEAD build.
dsuch@...:~/jython/cvs/jython/Lib/test$ jython testall.py
Testing Jython Version 2.2a0 on java1.4.2-01
Traceback (innermost last):
File "testall.py", line 4, in ?
File "/home/dsuch/jython/cvs/jython/Lib/test/test_support.py", line
4, in ?
line 30, in ?
File "/home/dsuch/jython/cvs/jython/dist/Lib/codecs.py", line 692, in ?
And indeed, there is no lookup_error function defined anywhere in the
source (should be in _codecs, which is org.python.modules._codecs.java,
right?) but perhaps this is a well known issue and has been discussed
before? (On the other hand, I can't find any mention of this error
neither here http://sf.net/mailarchive/forum.php?forum_id=5586
nor here http://sf.net/mailarchive/forum.php?forum_id=5587)

This case remains open. <wink>

Nah, it's nothing unusual, I've just mistakenly set python.home to
point to Python 2.3 instead of Python 2.2, heh...
