Hello, I experiment to use jython for programming game http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robocode as described here http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.java.robocode/760 I can compile successfully the code like this: ----------------------- from robocode import * class Pambo(Robot): def run(self): while True: self.ahead(100) # Move ahead 100 self.turnGunRight(360) # Spin gun around self.back(100) # Move back 100 def onScannedRobot(self, ScannedRobotEvent): self.fire(1) ---------------------- I run it (robocode) with -cp /path/to/jython-2.2.1.jar but trying to initialize this robot (code) it throws java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: Could not find: org.python.core.imp I suspect the problem migh be in the first line - importing robocode I compile from the directory, where the robocode.jar resides, but then copy it to other directory (whrere robots are) when running robocode.jar is allso appended to class path though.. without jython appended to classpath, the error would be java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/python/core/PyRunnable -- Jurgis Pralgauskis Don't worry, be happy and make things better ;) |
