I have been asked to create a simple scripting language which will accept
command such as:
foo 1 2 abc
Ideally I would like to use Jython to utilise all its feature and to call
other Java objects which
will also be used.
However, in Jython you would need to write a function called foo and you
would then enter the parameters using the syntax:
The software users really want the syntax to be as simple as possible. Is
there currently, or will there be, anyway to get around this by
altering the Jython syntax. This could be done in Python using the
LazyPython (or IPython) hack, but I must use Jython to be
compatible with my legacy Java classes.
Any ideas? Or any plans for the future?
thanking you in advance,
