Frank,

I suggest the following schedule, which pushes it out 1 week:
This will also give us some time on triaging bugs in the tracker, which has not been done comprehensively to my knowledge (I certainly haven't).

2.5.1 is looking quite good, as anyone who has been watching bob.underboss.org:8080/job/jython/changes knows. In particular Nicholas Riley has implemented robust JSR 223 support, based on feedback and coding tips by avid users. Jim White has been especially helpful on that. This was the last thing we deferred from 2.5.0, so it's good it's now in this release, and based on tweets I have seen, already in use.

Hi all,

I'm not quite ready to put out a 2.5.1rc1, and I know a couple other
devs feel the same way.  How much longer does everyone need?  I'll
suggest Tuesday August 25 -- does anyone want me to push it out
further?
