Thanks, we are planning to look at Colt and related projects like Parallel Colt and f2j. The hope is that we will not have to write so much code to make this happen - although there will be certainly a fair amount - but instead focus on the integration of existing, well-tested packages with Jython.

first at the latest Colt package, which is implemented with automatic
paralellization. There's also a fork called Parallel Colt.
