Hi List,
I am trying to make a simple connection via Jython which is proving more difficult than it should.

I added the driver jar to my classpath,

url = "jdbc:mssql://localhost/test"
username = "test"
password = "test"
jdbcdriver = "com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver"
from com.ziclix.python.sql import zxJDBC
db = zxJDBC.connect(url, username, password, jdbcdriver)

cursor = db.cursor()
dir(cursor)
cursor.execute("select * from master.sys.configurations")
cursor.description
cursor.close()
db.close()
~

/etc/alternatives/java_sdk_1.6.0/bin/java -cp /var/lib/jbossas/server/default/lib/sqljdbc-4.0.jar -jar jython.jar test.py

yields

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "test.py", line 8, in <module>
    db = zxJDBC.connect(url, username, password, jdbcdriver)
zxJDBC.DatabaseError: driver [com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver] not found

Any insights are appreciated. Seems to be a common issue.
