I created infinite loop in Jython REPL and there's no way how to interrupt it. I had to close the console window.
Does this works as designed? I think there should be a way for the user to interrupt the infinite loop by Ctrl+C, Ctrl+Z or something...

It works for me in 2.5.3 and 2.7b1 on Linux.

What version of Jython are you using?  What OS are you on?

Perhaps your intr character isn't what you think it is?  Check "stty -a" if you're on a *ix system.
