Sure enough there it is:
CLASSPATH=.;C:\Program Files (x86)\QuickTime\QTSystem\

And that is the correct location for it; but why is jython having an issue with it?

Check your CLASSPATH - the QuickTime installer sets it.  QuickTime (and
thus QuickTime for Java) is 32-bit only for the moment.
