I'm on Linux.  So let me know when and if you want that install
tested.

A couple of additional questions:

1. In version 2.2a1, I have not been able to edit the command line
   within the interactive interpreter.  Does 2.2a1 support
   readline? I've tried enabling the following in my registry
   file:

      python.console=org.python.util.ReadlineConsole
      python.console.readlinelib=JavaReadline

   But, it does not seem to work.  Is there something else that I
   need to install?

2. Is there some way for me to check values loaded from the
   registry file?  Is there an object that I can import which
   contains those values?

   I tried the following, but this dictionary does not seem to have
   values from the registry file:

      >>> from java.lang import System
      >>> props = System.getProperties()

Thanks in advance.
