I really like the demo of wxWindows showing both the code and the result in the same window. It would be a nice presentation for Python users. I think it is not everyone who cares about the Java stuff. For a Python user it is just a solution like another. Just my point of view.
Well, Oracle has a web start app that shows off all Swing widgets here: http://java.sun.com/javase/technologies/desktop/javawebstart/demos.html
It's the SwingSet2 demo, on the top right.

Jython-swingutils does not add anything visual, so I figured it's pointless to make a web start "demo app" for it.
