If you are looking for just editing jython scripts, I would recommend 'Pythonwin - Python IDE and GUI Framework for Windows.'

My favorite is jEdit. Once you install jEdit, use it's
package manager to install the Jython Interpreter.

You end up with a really nice environment where you can
edit your script and use keyboard shortcuts to feed
just the cursor line to the interactive interpreter
window, or run the whole script in the interpreter.

Can I ask what the users in this group are editing Jython with, if not
Eclipse? Thanks, Ike
