Jyntax is a simple, easy-to-use, light-weight syntax highlighter for Java.

It is designed for applications providing JTextComponents that should be enriched with syntactical highlighting and works best for formal (logical or mathematical) input. Originally, Jyntax was developed mainly to provide basic syntax highlighting in the GEAR model checker. The goal was to create a reusable library that can easily be plugged into existing applications (such as GEAR).
